Within roof structure of the monumental Bara Imambara architects have designed a wonderful network of corridors and windows connected with narrow staircases, running to dead end 30m drop balconies and external windows.
The idea behind the labyrinth was to allow women from the Nawab's hareem to watch the life inside and out, away from the scorching sun and unwanted gazes.
