First thought that came to me was: how long did it take to make this? Every tile crafted by hand, thousands of these, from the quarry to the artisan, who cut and carved these. How many hands did it take to lay down this intricate pattern? And then the time it will last... What a privilege to step on the floor laid for the royal step!
