To tell us the story about impermanence, a story of letting go. And perhaps one day our deeds in the same way will become captured in stone? What trace would we like to leave behind?
All this in a slate of marble, polished to serve as a palace floor of Fatehpur Sikri, Rajasthan, India. Only a few days later I saw the same pattern on a driveway of a family home. What a striking class of geology captured in a mother earth's masterpiece!
